It’s no secret that this summer has been a scorcher, and the notably high temperatures have put some of Florida’s aquatic life at risk. The heat has not only affected our day to day lives, but has also inflicted some serious damage on coral populations withing the shallows of the Florida Keys. Fortunately, Mote Marine Laboratory, located right in our back yard here in Sarasota, has all hands on deck to combat this issue.
